Like Huck, I didn't know either. So I started it. And then I had to finish it. It was an amazing journey. Not quite like Huck and Jim on that raft, but almost. Through and through.
Dorothy Bryant famously said that you are not the same person after finishing a novel as when you started it. I think I could agree with that.
